A place to believe
Sundays and worship at Edwalton Church
Whether you’re visiting, exploring faith for the first time, returning to church and looking for a place to call home, you are so welcome to join us.
What to expect
Edwalton Church is part of the Church of England (known as Anglican) and our Vicar is Ade Perham. Churches differ in style of service and worship — ours is relaxed, with a simple structure to guide the service and mix of traditional hymns and modern worship songs, depending on the service
There are two entrances into church, you can use either. You’ll be given a service sheet on arrival — feel free to sit wherever you like. The person leading will guide you through everything.
If it’s a communion service, you’re welcome to go forward, but there’s no obligation. You can simply receive a blessing or stay seated — whatever feels comfortable.

OTHER WAYS YOU CAN JOIN US
Exploring your faith with us
While we enjoy gathering for services on Sundays, there’s a lot going on during the week too. You are so welcome to join any of the activities. If you need more information, just email us.

Small groups
Friendship is at the heart of any community, and joining a small group is a great way to get to know each other better. We read and talk about the Bible together, exploring how its stories and teachings can help us in everyday life.
Although it’s an ancient book, many people are surprised about just how incredibly relevant and applicable it still is today!
Meets Tuesday & Thursday evenings.

Church retreat days
A retreat is a space for peace - to pause, be still and reflect. For thousands of years, God has sought our time and attention, not because of what we can do for him, but simply because He loves us.
These days provide a way to carve out time, slow down and reconnect with God. He longs for you to let him tend to your heart, to give clarity and perspective and renew your faith.
Check Facebook for next date.

Quiet place
A relaxed, contemplative gathering for anyone wishing to explore spirituality and the Bible together. Each session includes prayerful reflection and Bible readings — not too academic, rest assured! We’d love you to join us. For more information, email Roger Johnson at
roger@edwaltonchurch.org.
Saturday 10.00–11.00am (come into church through the double doors on left as you approach).

Curious about Christianity?
Most people, at some point, wonder about big questions — is there a God? Why am I here? What’s the purpose of life? But day-to-day life is busy, and it’s easy to never quite get round to exploring them.
The Alpha Course runs for several weeks, one evening a week and offers a relaxed space to talk about life, faith and Christianity over a meal. To find out when the next course is starting, email Ade at ade@edwaltonchurch.org.
